Dr Appelbaum grew up on Long Island in New York.
She attended  Nassau Community College and SUNY at Old Westbury and got her undergrad degree in Biology. 
She Graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1989.
After moving to Florida and passing the boards she opened her practice, first in Fort Myers and eventually moving it to Cape Coral.
In 2001 Dr Appelbaum completed her Implant training from AAID maxi-course thru MCG.
She received her certification in IV sedation from Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham.
Dr. Appelbaum raised her 3 children in Cape Coral and is involved with her church and the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as being on the executive board of the local dental society.
